Report a Mod, expect to be "hidden"; punished - Tis the NextDoor Way

As I stated in a recent blog, and proven, Next Door has been making it difficult to report moderators for harassment. I was unable to report Autumn Lee Martin's message to me. Same thing happened when I tried to report "Cynthia B". But they did eventually let me make a report. Almost as quickly as I filed it, I got something back claiming "Cynthia B" didn't break the rules.

 

By pure coincidence (is it really?), right after I heard back that "Cynthia B did not violate the guidelines", a comment of mine to a post about fatal accidents was hidden for "graphic and explicit" content. My comment was neither graphic nor explicit.

While NextDoor can silence me on their app, they can't silence me elsewhere.

 

If NextDoor doesn't like blogs like this or videos talking about how they protect moderators guilty of harassment, how about they actually start to do something about their toxic moderators and abusive staff.

I've spoken to other victims of NextDoor mods. Many are afraid to. One guy dealt with a mod showing up at his house.

UPDATE!

A mutual friend of myself and @CEDAvsFan went above the local mods to report Cynthia B. She was reported via the website and this blog was linked. He made alot of good points. Apparently there was a decent person on the other end because I think Cynthia B was suspended. 

 

When you look at a profile and it shows "no posts" when you know the person has made posts, that's a sign that action was taken on that account.

Keep speaking up. Don't stop. Hopefully someday more people will do so and maybe more will be done about a usive moderators.

Your and @CEDAvsFan's friend got lucky. 90% of the time they protect their moderators.

Google "corrupt" and you'll find the NextDoor logo--right next to the Republican logo and the Astros logo
