I'm very happy for the Sharks; very elated to see Mike Grier, the NHL's first Black General Manager, celebrating getting the #1 overall pick in the draft. Of course, nearly every hockey fan is happy as hell that the Chicago Blackhawks didn't win the draft lottery again.

Well, it's a start for the Sharks. Getting the #1 pick helps out the team just a bit, but they'll still need to hopefully get another good player or two so they can begin their long road to returning to perennial playoff contention.

If the Blackhawks has won the draft lottery again, I would have gone insane.
