CEDAvsFan Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/bob-cole-obituary-1.7184556 It was about a few months into my first journey into Twitter back in 2012 that Canadian hockey fans (mostly Leafs fans) told me about Bob Cole. Bob Cole was an icon in Canada, the voice of Hockey Night in Canada for so long. He was basically Canada's equivalent of Mike "Doc" Emrick here in the US, and as for myself, I'm thankful for NHL Center Ice and the NHL packages, because those forums allowed this American hockey fan to drink in Cole's PXP from the Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts. Thank you, Bob Cole, for bringing great joy to many hockey fans across the continent. 1 1 1
Philip Gipson Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 We seem to be really losing legends this year. May Bob Cole rest in peace.
