Elektra Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Warner Bros. Reportedly Set to Shelve and Delete 'Coyote vs. Acme' Film Once and for All Quote TheWrap reported that Warner Bros. rejected offers from Amazon, Netflix, and Paramount. Paramount reportedly also proposed a theatrical release for the film, which Warner Bros. allegedly rejected. Warner Bros. reportedly wanted $75 - $80 million for the project and would not allow the studios to counter-offer. Okay. So Warner Bros is to blame. Got it. Quote U.S. congressman Joaquin Castro tweeted to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) asking the U.S. regulator to investigate Warner Bros. Discovery for what he described as a "predatory practice" of scraping projects in favor of tax write-offs. Very interesting... 1 1
Philip Gipson Posted February 10 Posted February 10 (edited) I've heard a little bit about this Coyote vs. Acme project. I never had much hope for it happening. Hopefully it'll remain shelved/deleted for all eternity. Edited February 10 by Philip Gipson 1
CEDAvsFan Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I'm still so p**sed over this. We were robbed of a potential classic. 1
