Yankees making rare changes to iconic road jerseys for 2024 season

The club is ditching the white piping around the navy blue letters and numbers on its road grays along with the navy blue and white sleeve trim, Uni Watch reported Tuesday.

The changes would return the Yankees’ road jerseys to look more like they did prior to 1973, when the organization added the white outline around “NEW YORK” and around the numbers on the back.

That's pretty much how the Yankees operate; any design changes are minimal at best. Yeah, this really isn't much. The only change I want as a Yankees fan is our championship total:  from 27 to 28.
