Taylor Swift ‘devastated’ as fan, 23, dies ahead of her Brazil concert: ‘Overwhelmed by grief’

The concertgoer’s friend, Thiago Fernandes, 22, said Benevides was revived for 40 minutes before suffering another cardiac arrest on the way to a nearby hospital.

Taylor Swift should have made sure the venue was well prepared before performing and that adequate water would be available for all fans. 

 

If she really is devastated, it's because she feels guilty. She should.

I like Taylor Swift's music. But as a person, she can be wrapped up in herself. The way she goes on about being devastated by a fan's death at her event, it was as if she was more concerned about her image and how people might think about her level of responsibility.

It was tragic and unfortunate, that's for sure. With that said, Taylor could have definitely done more beforehand to prepare for the people in attendance. She had to have known about the sweltering heat heading into that concert. She could have made sure beforehand that the fans in attendance were properly hydrated.

I'm so disappointed in Taylor for allowing that fan to die. She should've made the time for them instead of focusing only on herself.

Taylor is responsible for the fan's death.
