I was not expecting this news, wow! Pamela Hayden voiced several characters on The Simpsons:  Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Sarah Wiggum (Chief Wiggum's wife), but her main character was Milhouse Van Houten, Bart Simpson's best friend. So this Sunday will serve as Hayden's last episode, and all I have to say is, thank you so much for three and a half decades of hilarity, and here's to a good retirement!

I respect Pamela Hayden's decision. She entertained us a lot during her time on The Simpsons.

Methinks Milhouse will be recast down the line. Same with the rest of Hayden's characters.
