CEDAvsFan
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2024/09/27/chicago-white-sox-mlb-record-121st-loss/75360956007/ Huge congrats to the Detroit Tigers; first postseason appearance in 10 years! They were behind a lot of teams a month ago. Hell, they were behind the Red Sox! But they tore it up, went on a winning stretch, and got it done! On the flipside, what a disaster season for the White Sox. 100 losses before September, eliminated from postseason contention on August 17, and now, the most single season losses in history, breaking a record that stood for 62 years (the New York Mets lost 120 games in 1962).
